This programmed and tested boardset includes everything you need to run Meteor2021, the new Arduino version of Stern's classic Meteor, in your working game. It connects to J5 of your MPU board. Compatible with Bally AS-2518-17, Bally AS-2518-35, Stern MPU-100, Stern MPU-200, and Alltek boards. A new Robertsonics .wav trigger sound board is included.
You will need to copy the new game sounds from the RetroPinUpgrade website onto the included microSD card, and add your own powered speakers or amplifier. Your speakers or amplifier will need to include a 3.5 mm stereo plug, to connect to the new sound board’s audio output.
The compact PCB attaches to the MPU board's J5 connector. A jumper selects between the original 6800 and Arduino code versions, and connects to a .1" header, so a remote switch can be added for easy dual-boot operation. Each board is thoroughly tested before shipping. Comes with installation instructions.
